When a configurator is the right solution
Configurators are most effective when customers need to select multiple attributes that affect price, compatibility, or fulfilment. Common use cases include made to order products, customisable bundles, subscription packages, modular systems, and services that require structured input.
Complexity levels
Some configurators are simple option selectors. Others behave more like applications, with layered logic, multiple steps, and pricing rules. During scoping, we define the complexity level and agree a phased plan that fits inside your monthly Development time budget.
Delivery model
All configurator work runs on the StrategyFive Platform. We build and test in staging first, release in controlled windows, and validate key flows after deployment. For higher risk changes, rollback readiness is maintained so trading is protected.
Scope boundaries
Configurators are delivered within the Development pathway. You choose priorities and approve estimates. If the required scope exceeds your monthly time budget, we agree a phased approach or a separate build proposal.
Measurement and iteration
We can implement GA4 tracking to monitor configurator starts, step progression, completion, and add to cart actions. Performance insights guide future development priorities, but no uplift guarantee applies under this pathway.
